CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria 2025
As per the CA Foundation eligibility, students who are appearing or have cleared the class 12th exams from the recognized board can register for the Foundation course. Eligible students must also fill out the registration form before the last date. The last date to fill out the CA Foundation registration form for the Jan 2025 exams is September 1, 2024. After the registration, consider the CA Foundation syllabus and CA Foundation exam pattern for the 2024 exams.
Important Note* – ICAI has released the CA Foundation Exam Date for the Jan 2025 exams. The papers will be conducted from Jan 12 to Jan 18, 2025. ICAI has also released the CA Foundation Exam Dates of January from 12th, 14th, 16th, and 18th Jan 2025.
CA Foundation Eligibility Exemptions:
Criteria for Candidates | Exemptions |
UG & PG | Candidates who have secured aggregate marks of 55% in UG or PG degree in Commerce stream or any other equivalent stream for any recognized university will be exempted from CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria. |
NIOS | Students who have qualified UG & PG degrees from Open University will be exempted from CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria 2024. |
Non-Commerce | Students who have UG & PG degrees in a stream other than commerce and have secured around 60% marks from a recognized university will be exempted from CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria 2024. |
Age Limit Eligibility for CA Foundation Registration
There is no age limit for registering for the CA Foundation course. Candidates of any age can register for the CA Foundation and pursue the CA Course.
