Candidates who are planning to appear in the May 2025 exams are advised to check their status at the Self-Service Portal (SSP) and be assured that they meet the eligibility criteria to be able to effortlessly fill out the exam forms at SSP.

Eligibility Criteria for Filling the CA Foundation Application Form 2025
According to the CA Foundation eligibility criteria, students need to fulfill the below-mentioned conditions
- Students must have cleared their 12th examinations from the recognized board.
- Students must have completed their CA Foundation registration in May 2025 before March 2025.
How to Fill the CA Foundation Exam Form May 2025?
Step 1: Firstly, you need to visit the ICAI official website and log in with your credentials. If you are applying for the first time, you must register for the CA Foundation course. If you are already registered then click on the self-service portal. Under which one has to fill in the password and login details.
Step 2: Fill in the details like registration date, PIN, roll number, qualifying exam of class 12th and its year, etc. Furthermore, you also need to submit the declaration form. Students can download the declaration form/certificate of service from the ICAI website. Furthermore, students need to click on the exam function option and then select the exam enrollment form, and click on the CA Foundation Exam Form.
Step 3: After the form loads, the candidate must go through the Guidance Notes on the pop-up screen. Students have to download these important guidelines. Students need to check on and read the complete guidelines and tick the box and after that proceed with form filling.
Step 4: Students have to verify the details mentioned in the exam form. If any difference is found then update the same using the profile edit form. The path to the same has been mentioned in the form.
Step 5: Students may note that the profile changes like Name/Photo-Sign/Qualification go through an approval process which may take 2 to 7 days. Hence, you are advised to apply early and raise a ticket in case the changes are not approved as per the above timelines.
Step 6: After verifying all the details in the personal details tab the student can go to the Qualification Details section by Using the Next Button displayed at the bottom of the personal details tab.
Step 7: In the Qualification details section, students can view and verify the qualification details
and if any discrepancy is found then update the same user profile edit form. The path for

Step 8: Once the student verifies all the details in the Qualification Details tab the student should go to
Exam Center and Fee Details section by using the NEXT button present at the bottom of the Qualification Details tab.
Step 9: Click on “Make Payment” to initiate payment. The payment will be done online only. If the payment is not completed, you can click on “Pay” in the dashboard to retry.
Step 10: Once your payment is successful, the ICAI will notify you of the payment details. You can download your CA Foundation Exam Form May 2025 PDF by clicking on “Download PDF”. If your payment was deducted from the bank, but the success message is not provided on the ICAI site, your payment is not successful.
After submission, a PDF file will be generated, which needs to be saved in soft or hard copy, only if it has all the correct details along with a photograph and signature.
Suppose the form doesn’t contain a scanned photo and sign. In that case, you must submit the CA Foundation exam form with a photograph and signature at the designated place. Get the form attested by a Chartered Accountant or a Gazetted Officer or Head of an Educational Institution and submit the same at the designated office/s of ICAI.
