Preparation Tips for the Class 12th Board Exams 2025

1. Begin your preparation with the NCERT class 12 books and then move on to the other reference books.
2. Focus on understanding the concepts rather than just memorizing the topics available in the book.
3. Make short hand-written notes of the topics that you’re studying. It will help in getting a clear understanding of topics. Further, it will also save time in revising the class 12th syllabus.
4. Students must do the written practice of the practical questions. Don’t just read the solutions to the practical problems.
5. Spend the last 1-month doing revisions and solving the class 12th sample papers for the 2023 exams. It will help in knowing the question paper pattern and the marking scheme.

Exam Day Instructions for the 12th Students

1. Class 12th students must follow these examination day guidelines specified by the CBSE board.
2. The duration of time for each paper has been indicated in the date sheet.
3. The duration of time for each subject/paper as given on the question paper should be followed meticulously.
4. Answer books would be distributed to candidates for the starting 15 minutes.
5. Candidates would write their particulars on the answer book.
6. Particulars shall be checked and signed by the Assistant Superintendent(s).
7. The question paper will be distributed at 10.15 A.M.
8. From 10.15 -10.30 A.M. (15 minutes), candidates shall read the question paper.
9. Candidates would plan a proper strategy to write the answers.
10. At 10.30 A.M., candidates will start writing the answers.
11. Practical examination in respect of private candidates (female and Patrachar Vidyalaya candidates appearing 1st time) will be held at the theory examination centers unless otherwise notified.
12. Private candidates should contact the Principal of the school of their theory examination centers for the date and time of the practical examination before the theory examination is over.
13. Class 12 practical exams for regular candidates in all the subjects will be held at each school for their own candidates.
14. The principal of the schools may fix up the date(s) for holding practical examination(s) in different subjects in consultation with the Examiner(s) concerned.
15. Candidates are distributed in convenient batches according to the number of examinees and the capacity of the laboratory.
16. Date and time for examination fixed in each batch be communicated to candidates concerned well in advance.
17. However, the practical examination of regular candidates has been completed by 15 February 2025.
18. CBSE class 12th result is likely to be declared in July 2025.
19. No inquiries about the actual date of declaration of the result shall be attended.
20. Half an hour before the exam, the last bell will ring, which denotes that the exam will be over in ½ hour.
21. After the final bell rings, the examiner will take your answer sheet by coming on your respective sheets.

In addition to the theory Examination, the practical examination will also be held for those students who have failed in their practical subject.
