ICAI CA Final Exam 3 Times a Year: More Chances, More Success

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has brought a major shift by declaring that the CA Final exam will now be conducted three times a year.

ICAI President CA Charanjot Singh Nanda highlighted the advantages of this move, saying, “This new approach will provide more opportunity to CA candidates to crack on the success of becoming a Chartered Accountant.” He further emphasized, “More Chances, More Success.”

ICAI Exam Reforms – More Chances, More Success

In order to improve global synchronization and provide more opportunities for success, the 26th Council of ICAI has taken a decision to hold the CA Final exam in January, May, and September, instead of May and November.

This is after last year’s reform that saw the same trend come into effect for the CA Intermediate and Foundation exams. All three now have the same frequency of examinations, providing students with greater convenience in preparation.

Besides, the Post Qualification Course in Information Systems Audit will also move to a thrice-a-year pattern, with exams now to be held in February, June, and October. The above reforms will look to enhance accessibility, career growth, and professional development for aspirants and members of the CA.

The above progressive moves are to provide students as well as professionals better opportunities to grow in their professional lives.

In his statement, CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President, ICAI said, “These epoch-making decisions will significantly benefit both students and members, offering them enhanced opportunities for success. This move marks a new era in the way we support and guide our future Chartered Accountants. ICAI is working 24/7 for the growth of its members and students. This historic decision will ensure that both students and professionals have abundant opportunities to excel in their careers.

A clear ethical framework and responsible practices are essential for shaping technology that is not just intelligent but also just. The ICAI aims to build a future where responsibility, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose guide innovation.

These reforms are in line with ICAI’s vision for a more vibrant and inclusive future for Chartered Accountancy.
