As we all know heavy floods hit Silchar city in Assam, so the ICAI has decided to postpone the CA Foundation exams of Papers 1 and 2.
Paper 1 (Principles and Practices of Accounting) and Paper 2 (Business Laws & Business Correspondence and Reporting) are scheduled to be conducted in June 2024.

Among the 205 centres where ICAI conducts the CA Foundation exams, one of the centres is in Silchar, Assam. Due to the dangerous flood conditions, it is not possible to conduct the exams.
ICAI will soon announce the revised dates of these CA Foundation June 2024 papers on its official website.
Students should also note that the official schedule of CA Foundation exams announced vide Announcement No. 13-CA(Exam)/M/2024 on 21st January and 19th March 2024 will be unchanged for all the papers and cities.
So, the CA Foundation June 2024 exams of Papers 1 and 2 are postponed only for the Silchar Centre. And there is no change in the timetable of any other centre and papers.
